Propelld is re-thinking education lending from the ground up. Education, even though one of the most talked of subjects
in the country, still suffers from a lack of financial access for the 80% of income population who don’t have the means
to qualify for loans from traditional Banks. Propelld, with its approach of accountable education lending by using future
income as the key metric, has emerged as the top-most lender in this space.
Propelld is building a sourcing engine within the fragmented education market with counsellor facing products that
enable counsellors/agents to convert sales quicker. At the other end, Propelld works with lending partners (NBFCs and
Banks) to build the lender layer with deep API integration for processing loans/disbursals/repayments. The underlying
digital application process, collections and alternate database credit underwriting models are some of the products that
Propelld works on.
With an untapped large potential of the education market not just in terms of increasing education spends but also with
respect to inefficient transactions of education enablers, low penetration and non-existence of fin products and the
opportunity of becoming the REAL first credit product for a Gen Z, Propelld is looking at building large value across the
education ecosystem.

Tech team at an initial stage, you would be working directly with our CTO who has previously led the India team of 30-
40 developers at Travel Republic, Co-Founder CTO with Voyce (sold to Exotel) and Kalido. Other senior team members
include Bibhu Das (IIT Madras, IIM Calcutta, Credit Suisse, Synergy Consulting), Brijesh Samantaray (IIT Madras,
HSBC), Akshay Loya (IIT Madras, Ashok Leyland), Victor Senapathy (IIT Madras, FMS Delhi, Deutsche Bank), Dr. S.
Ravi Shankar (IIT Madras, IISc, Siemens, Motorola, Conexant) and Shruti Sinha (Oracle, ICICI, American Cap
Mortgage).
