Job Description
Skeps is a blockchain-based SaaS company. We have created an innovative technology that connects lenders and merchants to help consumers finance the important things in life. Currently we are on a lookout for an SDE 1 Backend Developer, who brings in experience of coding, fixing, executing and versioning existing code for applications and someone who is ready to think beyond and is ready to take bigger responsibilities.
Although, this is a blockchain based product, the current job role is towards the standard product building where blockchain knowledge is not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Building the platform architecture using multiple technologies like NodeJS, ExpressJS, MySQL, API Integrations
- Assessing the security risks associated with the platform architecture and suggesting/implementing suitable changes for the same.
- Scaling up the infrastructure to meet increasing demand.
- Understanding the underlying blockchain architecture and how the APIs have been designed and exposed for consumption
- Working on optimization algorithms to ensure faster settlement through the platform and minimize any technical/financial risk
- Setting up processes for easy deployment and maintenance of network infrastructure
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
- Must be graduate in Btech
- Should have 2+ years of working experience
- Experience with building production systems for a start-up or an organization
- Good command over NodeJS and its internals is expected. Knowledge about Ethereum blockchain desirable
- Should be comfortable with RESTful web services/ APIs using ExpressJS
- Should be comfortable with server-side technologies as well – Python, Node.js, Docker, Kubernetes, Git etc
- Should have good command over cloud infrastructure AWS (preferred), MS Azure or Google Cloud
- Should have keen attention for detail and should be obsessed with building a good product – Applicants are strongly encouraged to share their github/bitbucket or product URLs
- Should be able to learn fast and understand new concepts quickly
- Should be willing to work in an agile start up environment and take complete ownership of the assigned responsibility

- Joining bonus: 30K to 2 Lakh rupees
- Variable: Bonus 5% to 10% of the CTC (Yearly in March) - Guaranteed Pay
